SupaPad™


All SupaPad™ equipment pad molds are one piece molds made from ABS plastic. The molds have a lip around the edge and should be framed (using wood or metal) prior to use.

Standard nominal sizes and textures:

  • 61 cm (24”) x 61 cm (24”) x 5 cm (2''): Smooth and pebble texture
  • 61 cm (24”) x 122 cm (48”) x 5 cm (2”): Smooth texture
  • 76 cm (30”) x 76 cm (30”) x 5.7 cm (2.25”): Pebble texture
  • 91 cm (36”) x 91 cm (36”) x 6.4 cm (2.5''): Pebble texture
  • 102 cm (40”) x 102 cm (40”) x 6.4 cm (2.5"): Pebble texture
  • 79 cm (31”) x 137 cm (54”) x 8.6 cm (3.375"): Emergency (back up) generator pads with smooth texture

The pebble texture molds create a rough surface on the top of the cast pads which resists slippage and movement of the equipment placed on top of it.

Equipment pads are designed to support outdoor equipment. They transfer weight evenly and prevent equipment from shifting. They can be cast using traditional dense concrete or cellular lightweight concrete (CLC). CLC is formed by combining compressed air with a liquid foaming agent, a foam is produced which is mixed with regular sand and cement concrete leaving numerous fine discrete air pockets within the material. No coarse aggregate is used and no vibration is needed.

 

 

 

 

Equipment Pad Mold - Smooth Texture

Pads are typically steel reinforced. The dense concrete pads are suitable for high compressive loads over 1.4 MPa (200 psi) including paver and deck pier applications. The lightweight pads are suitable for all other applications. Pads can be manufactured to be resistant to attack from weed wackers, weather and vermin. Pads are easily drilled and bolted. Standard anchors and brackets can be used for installation. They are chemically resistant and meet most municipal code requirements. We can also produce custom pad molds.
