SupaPanel™

Maxiflex™

Our innovative SupaPanel™ Maxiflex™ panel molds offer precasters the unique ability to easily change the texture and thickness of their cast concrete panels by swapping out the texture panels. You don’t have to change your molds when fence styles change, just change out the texture lining.

Each panel mold consists of a base and two hinged sides. Texture panels are attached to the inside of the hinged sides. Rubber stops are inserted at each end and between the side panels. The mold is supported by attached I-beams and can be ordered with a pneumatic vibrator on the bottom as an option. The molds are designed to allow you to place them side by side reducing the floor area needed and allowing you to fill multiple cavities at one time. The I-beams on the bottom accommodate pickup by forklift and the optional vibrator. Molds are light enough to be moved manually. The rubber groove at the base creates a hump or tongue in the concrete while the metal rod placed in the slot on top forms a groove in the concrete. Although designed for cellular lightweight concrete (CLC) regular concrete can be used as well. Demolding is accomplished by using the latch system on the ends to open the cavity and manually extract the cast panel.

The system allows you to mold a job using one set of texture panels then change out the texture panels to a different style for another job. This gives you the flexibility of many different textures and thicknesses with just one mold.

Besides fencing, the panel molds can also be used to cast panels for the interior and exterior walls of homes and buildings.

Mold Design Advantages

  • One mold can produce different panel textures and thicknesses by interchanging the panel texture inserts
  • Mold and panels may be operated and handled by just two people
  • Molds can be used side by side to minimize space
  • Both regular dense and CLC can be used
  • Long lasting robust industrial grade quality

Combining SupaPanel™ with SupaPost™ and SupaCoping™ creates the SupaFence™ system.

Unlike brick and concrete block walls, the SupaFence™ system resists cracking because the individual components of the fence are not attached and are free to move independently of one another when high winds or shifting soil act upon them.

Advantages over concrete block and brick walls:

  • Lower installed cost
  • More resistant to cracking
  • Pier foundation offers greater flexibility than continuous footing
  • Wide variety of beautiful textures and colors possible
  • More environmentally friendly
  • Little to no maintenance required
  • Considered right-of-way fencing since the panels can be removed for access
Fence panels can be made with CLC mixes that reduce their weight by over 55%. The result is a strong lightweight concrete fence that is easy to handle and can be installed by as few as two people requiring no cranes, forklifts or heavy equipment. Being lightweight also means lower freight costs and larger quantities per truckload. These fence products generate no jobsite waste, are free of hazardous or toxic ingredients, and are considered green building materials. Unlike conventional concrete which reflects sound, CLC panels absorb sound resulting in quieter spaces. Because of their cellular concrete structure these panels are more resistant to freeze-thaw degradation. These fences are rot and termite resistant, long lasting and essentially maintenance free saving money and hassle in the long run. Fence components are steel and fiber reinforced to meet structural requirements. Fence heights are in 30 cm increments with a standard maximum height of 244 cm. The gray panels can be painted or stained to create the desired look. Today's paints and stains offer excellent color consistency and durability reducing maintenance costs by enhancing moisture and abrasion resistance and extending the life of the precast concrete. Panel thicknesses can vary from 50 to 100 mm with a length of 183 cm and a height of 30 cm. Standard textures include small stone, round rock, barnwood, skip trowel stucco and plain. The standard textures are typically no more than 6 mm deep. These are unique textures creating a look that is both attractive and uncommon. Custom linings can also be provided with just about any texture including brick. The Ashlar and Stone textures illustrated below are examples of rubber custom linings with a deeper texture.

The posts and coping that complete the fence system have a smooth texture. Assembled without mortar, these fences are durable and will not rot, warp, burn or become damaged by vermin. Fence heights can exceed 366 cm with the right sized post.

These precast fences are great for parks, schools, homes, communities, commercial properties, enclosures or anywhere an attractive concrete fence is desired. The texture, thickness and sound absorbing qualities of CLC fence panels significantly reduce noise along busy thoroughfares and is visually appealing to passersby.

Homes and buildings can also be constructed using the SupaFence™ system.

To install, the fence system panels are inserted into and slid down the post slots. After inserting all of the panels, the coping on top completes the installation.
